Although this image doesn’t show much, I just love the colour!
Another view of the stage, and an escalator.
A view from the back of the stage zone.
This image is taken the stage area looking towards the entrance lobbies.
Now starting to post images from the sequence I created to show transition through the space. This and the next ones I post are my favourite images.
This is entrance escalator going to the first lobby.
Section perspective, showing the view from one of the entrance lobbies to the exit lobby.
This is a perspective of the stage. Or lack of an actual stage. It is a Pantomime theatre and I wanted easy interaction between performers and audience.
I’m going to start posting work from my latest design project: Underground Theatre. This is a section (created and rendered in 3DS Max).
This is a study of an Elf from the Spiderwick Chronicles that I drew. Amazing artwork in those books!
Photograph I took one day then mucked around in Photoshop
Final project for a first year design course. We had to use Google Sketchup to design a space and then essentially make it look pretty in photoshop. Check out the hi-res image for a closer look. While eventually post the individual rendered images!
First assignment of first year- design a billboard that explained and emphasized a quote. My quote was “The Sun never knew how Great it was until it struck the side of a building” -Louis Kahn.
I used an image of the flat iron building link: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8f/Flatiron_Building,_New_York_City.jpg
Initial abstract drawings, then photo shopped over to design a section of a home. I’m quite fond of the colours, not often do I get to use purple and yellow in design work.
Technical drawings for First Year to create a composite drawing of a building. Should add, actually hand drawn. No photoshopping here.
